About Bark & Brew
Bark & Brew is a Brooklyn-based coffee cart built around people, dogs, and community.
We started Bark & Brew because we love good coffee and the way it brings people together. Serving coffee outdoors created something simple but meaningful. Neighbors stopped to talk. Dogs became regulars. The cart became a familiar place to pause and connect.
That’s what Bark & Brew is meant to be.
Alessandro is the co-founder and head barista of Bark & Brew. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Film and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Hunter College. His path into coffee was hands-on and practical, learning through experience and refining the craft one cup at a time.

The Hearts Behind the Brew
Bark & Brew began with a Breville espresso machine that Alessandro received as a gift when he finished his master’s degree. What started as learning how to make better coffee at home slowly turned into sharing it with others.
From there, the idea grew into pop-ups, school fundraisers, community events, and private bookings across Brooklyn. Each event helped shape the business into what it is today — focused on quality, consistency, and showing up for the community.
Stephanie is co-founder, the organizer and driving force behind Bark & Brew’s operations. She keeps the business structured, coordinated, and moving forward. With a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from Brooklyn College, she brings clarity, communication, and organization to every part of the process.
